Nepotism is surely allowed when it comes to showcasing a golf course dog. Especially one as adorable as Oshie, my son’s Siberian Husky.

Oshie is still in training at Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Monterey, Calif., but by all indications he’s doing quite well. He loves the passenger seat in the golf cart and never tires of the spectacular vistas along 17 Mile Drive. (I mean, who would?)

When asked to spring into action, Oshie will shepherd the deer out of the line of play and chasing geese and other critters is part of his job description. But riding shotgun is apparently something Oshie loves the most.
